National Poetry Day

We celebrated National Poetry Day on the 1st October.This year’s theme was Vision, so our P7s went out to our beautiful grounds and started to “see like a poet”. We created a poem using our natural surroundings, using sticks and stones and leaves. Then we returned to our class and created our poems using our words. We were so pleased with our poems and thoroughly enjoyed our creative poetry work.
