Happy Pi Day!
15th Mar 2026
To celebrate Pi day on the 14th March, our P7s began investigating what is Pi?
The girls measured the circumferences of a range of circles as well as their diameters. Using calculators they discovered that, regardless of the size of the circle, when they divided the circumference by the diameter, they all ended up with the same answer: 3.1415926535 - known as Pi.
The P7s then started to create Kandinsky inspired circular art, using compasses to assist with their creations.
Their beautiful art work will soon be ready🎨
