Construction Time in P7

Our P7s were delighted to welcome Jimmy from SENTINUS, who led a workshop, introducing us to the basics of construction. The girls were challenged to measure, plan and think about how they could construct a stable structure. They were introduced to the roles of architect, engineer, builder and sustainability manager. Of course, none of this was possible without co-operating and working together as a team.

This workshop kickstarts the girls’ preparation for taking part in S.T.E.M.’s project, Our Future Town,  which will end with a celebration of their work at Queen’s University in early December!
